Happy Kids Care's mission is to help kids live happier lives by encouraging them to give back and to volunteer in their community.

Max Konzerowsky has loved helping people since a very early age. While spending many special times and caring for his grandfather who had Alzheimers, he became inspired to start HappyKidsCare. Today, Max encourages young people to help others in need by volunteering in their community. By fostering community service at an early age, HappyKidsCare is building stronger communities for generations to come.  It is our belief that everyone has the power to make a difference and since 2011 our young volunteers are on a mission to do just that.

Max is the recipient of the 2014 Regional Winner Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program and the 2013 Connecticut Moffly Media's Light A Fire- "Outstanding Youth Volunteer of the Year" award. He would like to thank all the volunteers and their families who have made HappyKidsCare a huge success- change would not be possible without them.

On a typical day you may find Max rowing, playing hockey or chess, reading about space as well as playing with his many friends, cousins and his pug Archie. Max is a student at the Brunswick School. He lives with his parents and his younger brother Jack in Darien, CT.

I would like to dedicate HappyKidsCare to my grandfather who passed away in February 2016.  I miss you Pa Pa!
